Accounting Coordinator (temporary, part-time)

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Accounting Coordinator (temporary, part-time) to join our team for summer 2025!

We’re looking for a Temporary Accounting Coordinator to join our Finance and Accounting team from May through August (15–25 hours/week; ideally morning hours).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Support Manager with work order processing
• Maintain project data within the Unanet ERP system, including project creation, WBS updates, billing status adjustments, and compliance checks
• Support the Billing Specialist Lead with client receipt application/reconciliation and invoice submission via multiple portals
• Identify and address potential issues related to data accuracy, system errors, and compliance
• Deliver high-quality customer service to both internal teams and external clients

What You Bring

• Completion of at least intermediate-level courses in Accounting or Business Administration
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; a quick learner of new systems and software
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members, management, and clients
• Discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential information
• Great organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively

Lake Superior Consulting provides competitive compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and specific office/market location. The range of starting pay for this role is $19-$22/hr.
