Integrity Engineer I

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Integrity Engineer I to join our growing team!

This is an entry level role and will work under close supervision and will learn procedures, specifications, industry terms standards and work practices. The Integrity Engineer will work as part of our Corrosion Engineering team and will be responsible for supporting AC Mitigation and CP designs. Projects will be multi-disciplined covering civil, mechanical, and electrical work, with a strong focus on the utilities area of the business.

Responsibilities:

Assist on projects to resolve operation problems for both AC and CP mitigation.
Provide field support on CP, In-Line Inspections, Direct Assessments and AC related testing.
Produce details of specifications and outline designs
Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions and provide technical information.
Organize and reduce data gathered, prepare charts and tables.
Assemble data for final client report.
Assist with the preparation of design reports and final project reports.
Understanding of design processes.
Perform field work for designs supporting other engineers.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and alignment sheets.
Read and understand construction drawings

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
Ability to travel to client job sites.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Oil and gas industry experience a plus but not necessary
Willingness to travel 90-120 days travel per year
Strong organizational skills
